The CruiseCraft brand is set to gather pace under the newly established marine dealership, Reef City Marine. Beginning in 2002 as Queensland Coast Boating and Marine in Gladstone, Reef City Marine brings new management, a fresh name change and a host of new marketing initiatives to spread the CruiseCraft name around Central Queensland.

Reef City Marine is an affiliated branch of the Ford Motor Company dealership Reef City Ford. Newly appointed Marine Dealer Principal Damien Clarke looks forward to growing the existing CruiseCraft customer base through strong marketing initiatives.

“It is a ‘positive’ that we already have an existing boating market but we are looking to push the CruiseCraft brand more aggressively to broader markets across Central Queensland,” said Damien Clarke.

“Gladstone is one of the highest ‘boats per capita’ towns in Australia with a huge boating presence among families. The mums and dads in this part of the world value their boating time with the kids and we are looking to provide CruiseCraft boating solutions to this market.”

Reef City Marine has a broad range of CruiseCraft boats in stock including the recently released Executive 700 cruiser standing proud in their showroom. Through their marketing programs Reef City Marine aims to become well known for their high quality boat brands, chandlery and will be going to innovative lengths to make their presence felt.

“We have just finished talks with the local marina to establish a full-time berth where we will have one CruiseCraft boat model in the water at all times; starting with the big Executive 700 cruiser. Not only is it good advertising, but also convenient for the customers to meet down at the marina for boat tests.”

With a potential CruiseCraft target audience spanning south to Maryborough and as far north as Mackay, Damien Clarke has plenty of marketing work ahead to ensure that Reef City Marine continues to grow into a boating hotspot for CruiseCraft boats.
