Hot on the heels of the launch of the award winning Explorer 625, CruiseCraft has just released the newly designed Explorer 575 to complete their compelling line-up of serious fishing boats.
Proudly boasting the same offshore credentials as its bigger brother, the new Explorer 575 hits the Australian market with a completely re-designed deck plus a long list of standard features not yet seen on a boat of this size and calibre.
“The new Explorer 575 has embodied all the appealing qualities of the 625 in a smaller fishing platform,” said CruiseCraft Marketing Director Danny Nichols.
“Superseding the existing Explorer 575, the new 575 model is built on the same proven design formula that awarded the CruiseCraft Explorer 625 with the 2005 Fishing Boat of the Year Award.”
The CruiseCraft Explorer 575 was released at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and exhibits all the alluring attributes seen throughout the industry acclaimed Explorer 625. The classic dropped gunwale line of the new Explorer 575 exudes style and immediately draws your eye from the sleek forward cabin down toward the smooth lines of the raked hull.
The solid fibreglass hull measures 5.712m in length and offers a generous beam width of 2.37m. While rated to carry a maximum outboard of 150hp, fitted with the recommended 130hp outboard on a tandem trailer, the Explorer 575 package weighs in at a healthy approx.1740kgs - easily towed behind most large family passenger vehicles.
The thoroughbred heritage of the Explorer 575 comes to the fore when the wind blows up and the swell starts to rise. The deep V hull entry is designed to slice through the heavy chop while continuing to flare the spray away. The 20° deadrise at the transom compliments perfectly the large reverse chines delivering ride smoothness and stability at rest.
Onboard, guests will immediately notice CruiseCraft's design attitude towards deck layout and safe storage. The fully carpeted cockpit is vast for a boat of this size and flows right through to the bulkhead.
Full-length side storage bins are well set back into the coamings on both sides, providing the fishing team onboard with ample room to store a host of fishing equipment. An optional well-padded practical rear seat is cleverly positioned to recess back into the transom when not in use.
Up forward at the helm station, the seamless dash module provides an expansive and ergonomic platform to mount all the essential navigation and sounder equipment. The waterproof switch panel is within easy reach.
Bordered by a solid grab rail, the curved windscreen is well placed for unobstructed viewing while sitting or standing. Much to the delight of many a skipper, the helm seat is fully adjustable
The cabin has enough room to accommodate fishing and safety gear which is easily stored under the bunk cushions. New cabin windows allow ample light into the cabin while adding to the sleek external appeal of the Explorer 575.
Access to the anchor locker is through a large forward hatch giving safe external access from the cabin. Safe access to the bow can also be had via the broad side deck with the stainless-steel split bow rail providing excellent safety and support to forward traffic.
The rear of the Explorer 575 boasts a list of new standard features. One step down from the new walk-through transom door, a stainless-steel boarding ladder is recessed into the rear boarding platform which is deep and strong enough to provide safe and graceful water entry and exits.
“The new Explorer 575 will help build on the already solid reputation of CruiseCraft's Explorer line. Winning Boat of the Year gives us even more confidence to continue our commitment to building the best fibreglass fishing boats in Australia ”, said Danny Nichols.
“By blending a proven hull design formula with the award winning deck layout of the Explorer 625, we believe we have created a boat that will break all boating milestones as a safe, mid-sized boat to carry fishing enthusiasts and families to their dream destinations”
The new Explorer 575 is available now through CruiseCraft's select premier dealer network around Australia . Built as a beautifully refined mid-sized fishing platform, the Explorer 575 will perform to the highest of marine standards synonymous with the manufacturing quality of all CruiseCraft boats.
CruiseCraft is a wholly family owned, Australian boat manufacturing business, operating from their Brisbane manufacturing facility. CruiseCraft boats are distributed exclusively through a network of authorised dealers throughout Australia and select international markets.
