CruiseCraft is now embracing the stringent CE level of manufacturing certification to pave the way for international sales success in Europe. Australia's most respected and highly awarded manufacturer of trailerable fibreglass boats is now building key CruiseCraft models to meet the exacting standards of CE certification for both the Australian and international markets.
Having already achieved export success in Asia Pacific countries including New Zealand, New Caledonia and Hong Kong, CruiseCraft now exports select CE certified models to the European Union.
“We have built our solid international reputation by consistently building high quality boats that can provide a safe and durable leisure platform for fishing enthusiasts and families alike,” said Danny Nichols, CruiseCraft Marketing Director.
“Thanks to the superior calibre of our CruiseCraft product, we are performing competitively on the European market. We can be confident that because our boats have proven themselves in all Australian conditions, they will proudly carry our CruiseCraft name further and excel overseas” said Danny Nichols.
The new CruiseCraft Certified models, including the popular Explorer and Outsider series of fibreglass boats, offer customers a range of performance benefits and are manufactured to standards approved by the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI), together with the relevant requirements of ISO and the Recreational Craft Directive 94/25/EC.
The standard addresses areas of hull construction including internal flotation using 2-Pac polyurethane foam and the utilisation of a high grade laminate structure.
The CE certification standard also addresses general safety, structural integrity, and the stability of the vessel. The CruiseCraft models feature high grade stainless steel and quality fixtures and fittings throughout.
Known in some circles as the ‘Trade Passport to Europe', the CE standard allows manufacturers to circulate their products freely within Europe and assure the customer that the product has passed rigorous safety and quality testing.
Australian manufacturers who comply with the approved CE manufacturing standards will visibly bear the CE insignia and carry the right to export recreational craft to the European market.
“The obvious benefit of the CE Certification is that our Australian customers can now be completely assured of purchasing a boat that not only exceeds rigorous Australian standards, but has also meets the more stringent international manufacturing standards as well,” said Danny Nichols.
“By continually lifting the manufacturing and design standards, CruiseCraft customers are able to go to sea in even better boats. A direct spin off from the CE development work is that CruiseCraft has extended the warranty on hulls and decks to 7 years.”
CruiseCraft is a wholly family owned, Australian boat manufacturing business, operating from their Brisbane manufacturing facility. CruiseCraft boats are distributed exclusively through a network of authorised dealers throughout Australia and numerous international markets. |
