The leisure boating options at Prestige RV have just stepped up a notch with CruiseCraft making a home at Geelong’s popular marine and recreational vehicle dealership.

Regarded as one of Australia’s most respected brands of fibreglass trailerboat, CruiseCraft now has the greater Melbourne area covered with Wes Frost Marine on the Mornington Peninsula and now Prestige RV on the Bellarine Peninsula.

The CruiseCraft range is now on offer at the Newcomb-based marine dealership which resides next door to the Prestige Jayco retail outlet on the Bellarine Highway. The CruiseCraft range now brings more boating options to a keen local fishing market that Prestige RV Group Operations Manager, Richie Fort, is keen to explore.

“The fishing and boating community down here on the Bellarine Peninsula is currently an un-tapped market for CruiseCraft,” said Richie Fort.

“Now with CruiseCraft on site, we can cater to all segments of the market. We have people that like to just cruise around the bay to others that venture way off the coast of Portland chasing tuna, plus everyone else in between. I know the quality of the CruiseCraft brand will be more than a match for our diverse local market.”

Prestige RV has recently developed a new marine service centre to further support their local boaters. This new complex will stock the full range of CruiseCraft boats from the large Executive 700 weekend cruiser, to the award winning Explorer and Outsider family fishing boats through to the exceptional Resort bow riders.

The Prestige RV story began in early 2004 when the popular Prestige Jayco dealership ran out of room for its thriving accessories/annexe production department. An ex-Mobil petrol station was bought next door to house the large accessories inventory plus a host of new services including leisure boats and marine outboards. And so the Prestige RV subsidiary was born.

“We’re now predominantly boats at Prestige RV and with CruiseCraft in our brand line-up, it’s all an upside for us,” said Richie Fort.

“The quality and finish on the boats is exceptional and they are remarkably cheaper than comparable offshore fishing boats of the same quality. The CruiseCraft team are very thorough and professional and we’re looking forward to representing the CruiseCraft brand at the Melbourne Boat Show.”

CruiseCraft is a wholly family owned, third generation Australian boat manufacturing business, operating from their Brisbane manufacturing facility. CruiseCraft boats are distributed exclusively through a network of Authorised Dealers throughout Australia and selected international markets.
